  3. Lead single from the Welsh rockers’ 5th LP Language. Sex. Violence. Other? and their only UK No.1. Nominated by Kate.
  4. Lead single from the prog-metal veterans’ 2006 LP 10,000 Days. Nominated by horizontalhold.

It was a tie between Stereophonics and Deftones for 2nd so for the first time the Bracket Balancer rule is invoked and Deftones lose out for being one.

I don't think I've ever heard Alt-J before but I wasn't expecting them to sound so much like Devendra Banhart.
